How to Flash Dead Nokia Mobile Phones with USB Data Cable

You can flash your dead Nokia mobile phone by yourself using a USB data cable/connectivity cable. The tool, which is required to flash the phone, is Nokia's Phoenix Service Software. Please remember that you can perform a successful flash on your phone only if its firmware has been lost or corrupted. If your phone is not turning on due to any hardware issue, then this procedure will not work for it. To flash a dead Nokia mobile phone, follow the below steps:

1. Download and install the Phoenix Service Software
2. Download the firmware of your phone. You can download it with Navifrim or can search it on the web
3. Install the firmware to the directory C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\Folder*
4. The Folder* should be created manually for the concerned firmware, if it is not created during firmware installation. If the firmware files are in form of .zip or any other compression, then extract/copy the firmware files to the specified location. For example, for keeping the firmware files of  RM-240, the location will be C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-240

5. The above mentioned location is default for Phoenix Service Software. If you have installed the Phoenix Service Software in a different location, then make sure to keep the folder with firmware files within Products folder
6. After successful installation, launch Phoenix Service Software
7. Connect your mobile phone using the USB data cable/connectivity cable of the phone
8. Select "No Connection" in Phoenix Service Software window as shown below

• Now click on "File" and then on "Open Product"

• Select the product version for your phone from the list. You can find it under the battery in your phone. If you don't know, which firmware is suitable for it, then search it on the web by model name

• Now click on "Flashing" and then on "Firmware Update"

• Click on the bordered button to select variants for your phone as shown below

• Select the desired variant/product code for flashing with

Note that the variants should be shown in the appeared window if the concerned firmware files are present in the correct directory within the folder with firmware name as C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\xx-xxx (xx-xxx is the firmware version. e.g: RM-240)

• After selecting the variant/product code, check the box with "Dead phone USB flashing" and then click on "Refurbish"

• A dialogue may appear with some instructions, follow them to continue

• Wait for the flashing to complete

• Your phone will be restarted after successful flash

Insructions: If your mobile phone is not detected by the Phoenix Service Software, then you may need to install the PC Suite of the phone or the flashing drivers manually.

Filter Name: Just put any name that will be self explanatory to you.

Then leave other Fields blank except.
Move to Folder: Choose Thrash from the Drop-down options.
NOTE: If you want to block an entire domain e.g You want to stop Facebook from Sending Irrelevant Mails to your email Inbox, Just put @facebook.com into all the Box and also choose move to Thrash in the drop-down.

For example: You may enter Gideon-swag@gmail.com in the From field to block all incoming emails from this address. However if you want to block the whole domain then use the following syntax: @gmail.com. Now all the incoming emails from the domain gmail.com will be blocked.
6. Click on Next Step, select the action you�d like to take on the blocked emails. You may select the option Delete it so that the blocked email is moved to trash. To unblock the email, all you need to do is just delete the filter that you�ve created.

Learn how to Access Your Facebook Account Wit 3 Different PASSWORDS

 
Did you know that you can login to your Facebook account using 3 different passwords? Seems interesting isn't it? Yep! Unlike any other online account which has only one password to access, Facebook lets you log in using 3 different variants of your password.
Only a few Facebook users are aware of this fact but, for many others this might seem a bit surprising. Facebook accepts the following forms of your password.


1. Your Original Password:- Let me explain this to you with the following example. Assume that your default Facebook password that you created during the sign-up process is "myFacebookPassword"

2. Password with the Case Toggled:- In the above password the letters "F" and "P" are in uppercase and the remaining are in the lowercase. If you TOGGLE the case here all the UPPERCASE characters are converted into the lowercase and vice versa, your default password "myFacebookPass" would become "myfacebookpass"

Now if you log in using the above toggled password, your Facebook will accept it and welcomes you! This is the first variation of your default password which is accepted by Facebook.

3. Password with the First Letter Capitalized:- If the first character of your password is in the lowercase, you may just change that first letter to UPPERCASE and Facebook will again accept it and let you in. As in case of the above example where your default password is "myFacebookPass" , if you just change the first letter to UPPERCASE your password would be "MyFacebookPass" and this should work fine as well:-

Note:- The 3rd Option only works for Mobile users only!

Why 3 Passwords? Now, you all know that Facebook can be accessed using 3 different passwords. But you may be curious to know the actual reason behind it. Well, this is definitely not because Facebook has a bug or a serious vulnerability. In fact this is just an option provided by Facebook itself to make the sign-in process easier for the users.

Here's how:- The most common reason for the authentic logins to be rejected is when the CAPS LOCK is ON. This is where the first variation comes in handy. That means, when the CAPS LOCK is ON the case gets reversed (toggled) for your password but Facebook will accept this as well. In case of mobile, users it is a common for the first letter of the password to get capitalized which often leads to the login failure. So, in order to tackle this issue, Facebook will also accept the password where only the first letter is capitalized. Thus if the CAPS LOCK is accidentally enabled, the toggled password feature would still let you log in to your account!
